    1. Thank you so much Suzy. Sorry for replying so late but I don’t know how i missed your comment. It was indeed an emotional day for me and being a teacher and seeing your students shower their love is something beyond words can describe. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with me…

  1. My mom was a teacher and she was along the favorite ones. She took VRS and she faced the same reaction from her students, colleagues. I can totally understand your emotions. Have seen through my mom’s eyes many times.

  2. Happy Teacher’s Day. My father is a retired Maths Professor. Last night, my toddler made a card for him and wished him saying that my father will always be his first teacher. I could feel his eyes well up with tears. I have always believed that once a teacher, always a teacher. So you my dear will always be remembered for the impact you had on others lives.

  3. I tend to agree. Once a teacher always a teacher. My mom was a teacher for over twenty years and till today I burst with pride when some of her students come up to me and ask about her and tell me that she was the best teacher they had ever.

    1. Aww, what a sweet story that is! It is indeed true. I got a message just today from my student who is doing his medicine first year saying “Ma’am today we are learning about ….such and such topic and my mind just remembers how you taught me this topic in 9th grade” my heart swells with pride. No words can express that. Thank you so much for sharing this with me here. I loved reading it and my humble pranam to your mom from me for being such a lovable teacher.

    1. Hah…Valid question indeed! Yes though i loved what i did, i was at a juncture where I wanted to devote some time to my dream project…developing my farm. And with a full time job i wasn’t able to do justice to that and therefore, the tough decision had to be taken. Thanks for asking. And thanks for stopping by. Hope you like what you read here…
